I’d like to be able to tell you that the disaster from the month of June has ended. But it hasn’t.
Last Sunday I discovered that some lovely idiotic person has stolen our credit card details and gone cray cray on Expedia.
Thankfully, the lovely humans at CBA sorted it out, and our new cards are on the way.
I was super excited to finally file two of my articles from recent travels only to find out that the magazine has folded! (An all too common and sad event for freelancer writers out there, this has happened to me twice already!) Anyway, after a semi meltdown I have concluded that the hard work is done and I am now on a mission to find my pieces a loving home.
Despite the flat mood of late, I have been managing to get on with things.
I ran 13km yesterday after a year of running slumber. I farewelled Bluey my bike to a new home, making room in my life for a stand up paddle-board. I bought myself some flowers. I cuddled with the cat (even though she resisted, as always).
The Ginger Hunk is starting to move around without crutches and we should get the results from his MRI soon.
I’m getting on with things, one day at a time.
I have much awesomeness to look forward to in the coming months, my first fancy blogging conference in a few weeks time, a new book to read (authored by my school friend Rebecca Campbell), yoga in Bali in September and of course the half marathon.
What does imperfect actually mean anyway?
I can’t tell the difference with this fruit – can you?
How was your week last week?
Good?
Bad?
Meh?
Imperfect?
Happy Sunday xxx
